I've killed the albatros

Finally. The bunk beds are finished. This project has hung around my neck like the proverbial albatros (can anyone figure out where this reference comes from? Bonus points to any that do: leave your answer in the comments section.) Nevermore! They are finished, all except the ladder, which is on the docket for today. The kids slept in them last night, and reported that it was the best night ever. Jackpot. Of course, the beds also have mattresses and sheets and such, it's just that this pic shows the lines best. You've killed the albatross huh! Well that's one wearisome burden off your plate. What do I get for being the winner. We could use some more hand made patio furniture.

Ah so you know some more lines from the poem, but WHAT poem?

Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner. This is Beth, on Mike and Jen's computer. And I'm so right, and I so want a prize. Mark, you get nothing!!!!

You're close Beth. It's "Rime" not rhyme. You both lose, thanks for playing.

Why do I lose? I told you what it meant which was your original challenge. Beth seems very competetive, but I did win. Too bad. I could use a nice side table to go along with the adirondak chairs!

You lose because you never identified the reference. Just because you google something and more lines come up from it doesn't mean you win. You needed to (as specified) identify where the reference comes from, i.e. the title, not add more lines to it. Beth did come closest, but alas, she misspelled "Rhyme." In the olde text, it is "Rime." Too bad, so sad, case closed.
